The Nigerian Journal of Communication Review (NJCR) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published quarterly by the Department of Mass Communication, Edo University Iyamho, Edo State, Nigeria. It publishes theoretical and empirical papers in Mass Communication and related disciplines. Covered Research Areas and Related Disciplines include Mass Communication Research, Broadcasting, Film and Cinematography, Sociology of Mass Communication, Media Ethics and Law, Media, Public Relations and Advertising, Media Principles and Practice and New Media and Convergence. Other areas covered are; Development Communication and Media Economics, Media Graphics and Aesthetics, Journalism and Media Studies, African Communication Experience and Political Communication.
Aim
The Nigerian Journal of Communication Review (NJCR) promotes advanced comprehension of communication and media operations in developing and developed environments. NJCR functions as an academic base for comprehensive research and intellectual exchanges which stimulate critical analysis within strategic communication and organizational communication domains as well as media studies and journalism and the disciplines of community communication and development communication.
Peer Review
All manuscripts are subject to double-blind system peer-review. The reviewer(s) identities will remain anonymous to authors. The paper will be peer-reviewed by two experts. The review process may take 60 days. Decisions will be made known to authors as soon as the editorial board reaches a decision and reviewer(s) comments sent to the authors immediately. Originality of Research Articles Articles can be empirical or nor empirical. These should describe new and carefully analysed and confirmed findings, backed with convincing research procedures. The length of a full paper should be concise and should describe and interpret the work clearly. Articles should not be more than 7,500 words. Preparation of Manuscripts Authors are to follow the following prescriptions in preparing their manuscripts for this journal.

All NJCR articles are available in digital format and archived on the journal's website.
Fees and Charges
Upon acceptance of paper(s), authors are to pay N32,000 as Article Processing Charge (APC), while foreign author(s) will pay an Article Processing Charge of 75$. Authors who require hard copies are to pay for such copy(ies) in line with the prevailing market costs, excluding postage charges. Hard Copies of the journal are printed on demand for a fee.
